Position 001444:            Enterprise Program Manager
Our client is searching for a senior level project management professional responsible for working with the business to define business and project objectives and then define, plan, and manage the execution of business focused projects. This is a seasoned individual with the experience and focus to manage efforts that solve business problems. Plan and manage, using both HealthNow and industry standards and best practices for project management, the full range of tasks associated with business focused projects for the purpose of achieving the projects objectives. This individual is expected to manage all aspects of very large complex projects or multiple small to medium sized projects simultaneously that are likely made up of inter-disciplinary teams of business and technical resources, some of whom may be external resources or business partners.

To grow HealthNow's ability to deliver successful business focused projects, this individual works as part of the Enterprise Program Office (EPO) team to define and refine the project management life cycle standards, methods, techniques, and tools, acts as a mentor and trainer for other less senior project managers, and actively works with the business, IT, and corporate organizations to broaden and deepen the ability of the organization to conceive, define, plan, and execute projects.

The successful individual in this position is a skilled business manager who is goal focused, can navigate through complex organizational situations, introduce and execute change, and help set priorities based on business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, plan, and manage projects in compliance with the Strategic Projects Governance policy and according the HNNY project management life cycle (PMLC) and other standards as published from time to time.


  • Work as part of the EPO team to define and refine the HealthNow PMLC and other methods, technology, and practices for successfully defining, planning, and managing projects


  • Develop and deliver project management training and mentoring programs for other project managers and business leads who are or may be engaged in project related activities.



    Experience and Skills:

    • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 10 years related work experience
    • PMP certification preferrred
    • Minimum 8 years experience managing projects that involve IT and business resources
    • Project Management skills
    • Previous vendor relationship management experience preferred
    • Demonstratable ability to build collaborative working relationships
