Position 001446:            CFO

Our client, the New Buffalo Shirt Factory is a specialty printing company working directly with music merchandisers and themed attractions.  Customers range from rock groups like Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones, to the different enterprises of Walt Disney Co.  Our client is reconized as a premium supplier of screen-printing in the country.   With over 150+ employees locally and 3 locations, they generate approximately $35m in annual sales and are on track to grow their business into South America. 

The CFO position is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations; provides leadership and coordination for all accounting, finance, and budgeting needs of the company.  This position reports to the President and COO.

Primary Responsibilities
· Direct the preparation of financial reports, including financial statements, special analyses, and information reports. Consolidate financial statements.

· Analyze cash flow, cost controls and expenses. Review reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals. Suggest methods of improving the planning process as appropriate.

· Analyze company operations to pinpoint opportunities and areas that need to be reorganized, down-sized or eliminated.

· Set up general ledger subsidiary accounts to target areas of cost improvement.

· Assist President/COO in study of long-range economic trends and projects company prospects for future grown in overall sales and market share, and opportunities for acquisition. Estimates capital requirements.

· Develop forecasting system to include both short term and long range planning.

· Oversee financial management of foreign operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.

· Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry.

· Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.

· Create, coordinate and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting, tax planning and conservation of assets.

· Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.

· Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.

· Ensure record systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted audited standards.

Qualifications
Masters degree in business administration, accounting, or finance. C.P.A. designation preferred. Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems. Mastery of Quick Books is critical. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in financial management in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning. Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Annual salary of between $80,500 - $100,000.
