Management Coaching

Through one-on-one coaching, we help clients to increase their effectiveness by understanding who they are and what they need to be successful. We work with senior executives, owners and managers who have a desire to achieve a new level of success. We help our clients identify their strengths and capabilities as well as the challenges that may get in the way. Our clients commit the time and energy required to make the changes necessary to increase performance as well as satisfaction. Our coaches draw on both informal and formal assessment and development processes to create awareness and results.

Coaching: A Journey With Four Repeating Steps

Awareness: What are my strengths? Am I able to use my strengths in my current role? What behaviors limit my effectiveness? How could this be addressed?

Motivation: When I have a better awareness of my strengths and challenges, do I have the desire to do something with this information?

Repetition: How do I repeat the new behaviors until I have internalized them?

New Behaviors: What new ways of behaving do I need to adopt and practice? What specific actions will help me achieve my goals?

The Performance Management Partners, Inc. Coaching Process

Relationship Building & Goals: We discuss personal history, career history and long-term personal and professional growth goals to establish the relationship.

Assessment: To facilitate the process of self-discovery, we conduct various assessments which may include: Emotional Intelligence Inventory, Workplace Big Five Profile ® , DiSC ® Personal Profile System ®, Watson Glaser, NEO, Hogan Values, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ® and other self and 360 ° feedback assessments.

Debrief: We discuss the gap between self-perception and the perception of others. What does the client hear people saying? We draw on current and past examples to help the client understand the perceptions.

Development: We help the client create strategies for addressing the feedback through the creation of a formal Development Plan. Then, over 6-8 sessions, we coach the client through the change process.

Our Coaching Principles
•  Confidentiality is key. •  The client maintains control and shapes the agenda. •  The client is responsible for personal growth and development. The coach does not fix or change people. The coach is there to guide, question, support, offer constructive feedback and insight and help the client develop a game plan.
